Carlin Davison

The spring heeled forward was one of only three players to appear all 34 games for the BNZ Breakers in the 2025-26 season.

The 23-year-old is entering a third season with the club and has already made considerable strides. A Development Player in his first season he then made 10 appearances in the 2024-25 season averaging 2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.

Last season those numbers increased to 5.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, scoring an NBL high 15 points on two occasions.

Born in New Plymouth he spent five seasons in the NZNBL with the Taranaki Airs. His first season was back in 2020 when aged 16 and he went on to play 92 games for his hometown club.

In his final season with the Airs he was named to the 2025 NBL All-Star Five and also received the Stan Hill Trophy in recognition for being named the Most Outstanding NZ Forward/Centre.

Davison is coming off the 2026 NZNBL season where he averaged 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists for the Wellington Saints. In the Grand Final loss to Southland Sharks he flirted with a triple double as he recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists.

He debuted for the Tall Blacks in 2025 and played both World Cup Qualifiers against Guam and the Philippines in June – he posted his highest score for the national team with 16 points in the victory against Guam.
