Biography
Having been continuing to grow and wait for an opportunity to show what he could fully do, it all came together for the dynamic and explosive point guard as part of the stunning Illawarra Hawks run to close NBL24.
All of a sudden he found himself playing big minutes, a key role and having the ball in his hands plenty with the Hawks as they made a run to within a game of reaching the NBL Championship Series where he continued to deliver in the big moments.
The 25-year-old is now 58 games into an NBL career that has included stints with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, Melbourne United and now the Hawks while now looking to be at the peak of his powers.
After growing up in the regional NSW town of Cowra, his first NBL opportunity came as a development player at South East Melbourne for the 2019/20 season but he only managed to hit the court on two occasions.
Following a standout 2021 NBL1 South season at the Ballarat Miners, received another development player chance with United.
Made seven appearances in that 2021/22 season before another strong NBL1 South season this time at the Casey Cavaliers.
That saw him receive another development player deal with the Illawarra Hawks for NBL23 where he became part of their back court rotation playing 24 games and averaging 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds.
Then after staying in the 'Gong for an NBL1 East season, earned a role when Justin Tatum took over as coach the rest of the NBL24 season and played some stunning basketball including playing big minutes and putting up impressive numbers come finals time for the Hawks.
Backed that up with a brilliant NBL1 East season for the Albury-Wodonga Bandits where he was named to the All First Team and Best Defensive Player on the back of putting up 22.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 7.9 assists.
