Biography
Is entering his sixth season with the Illawarra Hawks in the NBL, his third as co-captain and continues to emerge as one of the best local bigs in the league.
Grew up in a remarkable basketball family as the youngest child to father Shane and mother Jenny, both who had terrific basketball careers in the NBL and WNBL respectively.
His older brother Harry, and sisters Alicia and Keely have all ended up professional basketballers as well, and he has continued to grow into one of the genuine stars of the NBL now at age 24.
Having grown up in Townsville, spent a season playing college basketball at Creighton University in 2018/19 before coming home to Australia initially to play an NBL1 South season at the Dandenong Rangers.
From there, signed at the Illawarra Hawks to make his NBL debut in 2019/20, and has continued his upward trajectory ever since.
Has continued to get better each NBL season he's played and with the Hawks making a stirring run to get within one game of the Championship Series in NBL24, he was at the forefront of it all putting up 15.4 points and 7.8 rebounds a game.
Received the NBL Next Gen Award on the back of that and had a standout NZ NBL season with the Airs where he played over 33 minutes a game and averaged 21.6 points, 10.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists on the back of shooting at 59 per cent from the floor ahead of building on his 147-game NBL career with Illawarra.
