Biography
Has had a horror run with knee injuries in his career, but has been rewarded for his perseverance as part of the championships the last two seasons with the Sydney Kings and he was nothing short of heroic in 2023.
Grew up in Wollongong and was a promising junior basketballer which led to him attending the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence for each of 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
First signed with his hometown Illawarra Hawks for the 2016/17 season as a development player, but he ruptured an ACL a second time already.
Made a brief return to the Centre of Excellence in 2019 and then rejoined the Hawks in the NBL and played 27 games across the 2019/20 season, averaging 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.5 minutes.
Then joined the arch-rival Sydney Kings for the 2020/21 season, but ruptured an ACL for a third time and underwent surgery where his father's hamstring tendon was used rather than his own.
Made it back for the 2021/22 season to be an important player on the championship winning team, before his role increased further in NBL23. Delivered one of the more heroic performances in Game 5 of the Championship Series against the New Zealand Breakers.
Despite suffering from cartilage damage near his ribs and sternum and battling crippling abdominal pain, he made massive plays to help bring back-to-back championships to the Kings to book his place in folklore.
