Biography
On the back of playing in two NBL championships at the Sydney Kings, was named captain for NBL24 and now is preparing for a sixth season in the Harbour City to continue his 318-game career.
Grew up in Horsham, Victoria, and followed older brothers Cameron and Aaron into basketball, starting playing in the Big V with the Horsham Hornets aged just 15.
After four years there, moved to Ballarat to play with the Miners in the SEABL (now NBL1 South) from 2010 before earning his first chance in the NBL at the Cairns Taipans in 2012/13.
Spent the next four seasons with the Snakes, amassing 95 games and by 2015/16 was playing 21 minutes and averaging 5.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists, including being a key part of the team that went to the Grand Final in 2015.
Joined the Brisbane Bullets for their return to the NBL in 2016/17 and spent two seasons there, but found himself out of the league to start 2018/19.
Stayed training in Cairns and was called up to the Adelaide 36ers as a replacement player, before being snapped up by the Kings for 2019/20 where he has remained.
Has now played 171 games with Sydney and won two championships, and the esteem he's held in was highlighted by being named captain for NBL24.
Was also QBL (now NBL1 North) MVP with the Mackay Meteors in 2017 and spent the 2023 off-season starring with the Logan Thunder putting up 16.2 points, 8.3 assists and 6.1 rebounds. Stayed at Logan in 2024 and made All-Second Team with 16.1 points, 9.6 assists and 5.2 boards.
