Biography
Arrived mid-season with the Perth Wildcats at their lowest ebb, but months later was a championship hero and has turned himself into one of the NBL's all-time great superstars ever since.
Grew up in Tucson, Arizona before spending his four-year college career at Providence University, capped off with a senior year where he produced 21.8 points, 5.9 assists and 3.5 rebounds a game while being Big East tournament MVP.
On the back of that, started playing in the G League with the Austin Spurs, before getting his first chance in the NBA at the Utah Jazz in February 2015, where he played 15 matches for 5.3 points a game.
Had separate NBA stints at the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies in the 2015/16 season and then played in Turkey with Anadolu Efes in 2016, before fate worked that he left the club in time to join the Perth Wildcats of the NBL in January 2017.
The Wildcats were floundering at the time, but he led them to the championship in 2017 just months later, and has continued to set the NBL alight ever since.
Has now played 200 games with the 'Cats coming into the 2023/24 season and along the way is a championship winner in 2017, 2019 and 2020, won the NBL MVP awards in 2018, 2020 and 2021, and was the Grand Final MVP in 2017 and 2020.
Across those 200 games of his career to date, has averaged 22.5 points, 4.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds a game, while having a penchant for hitting big shots in big moments, and being an unstoppable offensive weapon with his explosiveness, creativity and shooting touch.
