Standing at 6'9 and with great length and an ability to rebound, defend, score and showing terrific athleticism, he quickly became a standout at the Rockets in that 2023 season with 15.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals a game.
That saw the younger brother of Port Adelaide AFL star Aliir Aliir earn his first NBL opportunity as a development player with the Adelaide 36ers.
Made the move to the Mount Gambier Pioneers for the 2024 NBL1 South season and ended up named to the All-First Team in a side that finished in top spot to close the regular season where he averaged 18.5 points and 10.0 rebounds on shooting 51 per cent from the floor and 40 per cent from downtown.
Has now banged down the door to earn a full roster spot with Melbourne United for NBL25.
