Biography
Overcame a horror run of knee injuries to become a two-time championship hero at the Sydney Kings and now begins a new stage of his NBL career at the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Despite three knee reconstructions, has continued to fight back and now ahead of joining the Phoenix does so having played 120 NBL games with the Illawarra Hawks and Kings, and fresh off leading the Eltham Wildcats to a first ever NBL1 South championship.
After attending the Centre of Excellence, first signed with hometown Hawks for 2016/17 season as a development player, but ruptured an ACL a second time.
Made a brief return to the CoE in 2019 and rejoined the Hawks for 27 games in NBL20 for 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.5 minutes.
Then joined Sydney for NBL21, but ruptured an ACL for a third time and underwent surgery where his father's hamstring tendon was used.
Made it back for NBL22 season to be an important player on the championship winning team, before his role increased further in NBL23. Delivered one of the more heroic performances in Game 5 of the Championship Series against the New Zealand Breakers.
Despite suffering from cartilage damage near his ribs and sternum and battling crippling abdominal pain, he made massive plays to help bring back-to-back championships.
The NBL24 season to the Kings didn’t go to plan for anyone including him, but he shook it off to have a brilliant NBL1 South season taking Eltham to a first ever championship while being named Grand Final MVP.
