The BNZ Breakers’ NBL27 schedule has landed, with 14 games confirmed for Spark Arena and two regional games set to take the team across New Zealand.

The new season brings a clear ambition: bring the championship back to New Zealand.

Spark Arena will again be the club’s home, and the BNZ Breakers are preparing to build one of the loudest, closest and most exciting live sport and entertainment experiences in the country.

This season is about more than just the game.

Sold-out arenas. Big moments. Big energy. The mana of a packed Spark Arena. And New Zealand right in the middle of it.

There is nothing like a BNZ Breakers game at Spark Arena. Fans are close to the court, close to the players and close to the action. The speed, the energy, the slam dunks, the three-pointers, the big stops and every run that brings Spark to its feet.

There are very few sporting experiences in New Zealand where fans get this close.

The club has seen what Spark Arena feels like when it is full. Now the goal is to elevate the experience even further.

And while the club is not ready to reveal everything just yet, something new is coming for NBL27. Something bold, something fresh and something distinctively New Zealand.

More Spark Arena nights

NBL27 brings a record 14 games to Spark Arena, giving fans more chances to be part of the action at the club’s Auckland home.

The schedule also includes more early Sunday games, making it easier for families and whānau to get to Spark Arena and be part of the atmosphere.

More Spark Arena games means more big moments at home. More nights close to the court. More chances for fans to be in the stands when the team needs them.

Membership information will be shared soon, with single-game tickets expected to go on sale closer to the end of August.

A team built with intent

Off the court, President of Basketball Operations Dillon Boucher has been busy.

The appointment of 2023 FIBA World Cup-winning coach Gordon Herbert as Head Coach has set the direction for where the club wants to go.

The roster has come together with real purpose. The BNZ Breakers have retained key pieces, added proven winners and strengthened the group with players who know what it takes to win championships.

Sam Mennenga returns after a breakout NBL26 campaign and gives the group another major piece to build around.

Carlin Davison and Preston Le Gassick bring continuity, energy and a strong New Zealand core. DJ Vasiljevic brings championship experience and big-game confidence, while Kouat Noi adds proven scoring power.

And with Parker Jackson-Cartwright continuing to set the standard, this is a team being built to compete with anyone in the league.
