Anthony Lamb and Parker Jackson-Cartwright receive the prestigious recognition in Melbourne

Mody Maor created some Breakers’ history this season by selectiong two imports which have subsequently been named in the All-NBL first team for NBL24.

Both Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Anthony Lamb making the team alongside Gary Clark (Hawks), Chris Goulding (United) and Bryce Cotton (Wildcats).

Last season, imports Derrek Pardon and Barry Brown made the All NBL SECOND team, proving beyond reasonable doubt that Maor has a knack for selecting excellent imports and bringing them to the Breakers.

It is the first time since 2015 the Breakers have had a player feature in the All NBL first team.

The All-NBL Team is an annual National Basketball League honour bestowed on the best players in the league following every NBL season. The team has been selected in every season since the league's second year in 1980.

A full list of Breakers’ players to make the All NBL first team are as follows:  Carlos Powell (2007), Kirk Penney (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), C. J. Bruton (2009), Gary Wilkinson (2011), Cedric Jackson (2012, 2013, 2015), Thomas Abercrombie (2012).

ackson-Cartwright, Goulding and Cotton all were finalists to take out the league MVP but that honour was one again taken out by the Wildcats Wizard in claiming his fourth crown.  Only Andrew Gaze has won more MVP awards.
