BNZ Breakers Make A Home At Rydges Auckland

The BNZ Breakers have named Rydges Auckland as an Official Partner for the 2026-27 season.

Rydges Auckland is the only Auckland hotel partner of the BNZ Breakers, supporting the club with accommodation for the opposition team and hospitality services throughout the season.

The partnership brings together two well-known Auckland brands committed to delivering exceptional experiences for their communities, whether that’s guests or fans, locals or visitors. As two organisations with a strong connection to Tāmaki Makaurau, the partnership will create opportunities for fan engagement across the season.

Rydges Auckland General Manager Colin McClean says, “Supporting local is important to us, and many of the Rydges team have a deep love of sport. We're excited to be an accommodation partner and proud supporters, as well as welcoming visitors and locals alike for pre and post-game festivities in The CUT Bar – and best believe we’ll be playing all the away game action live there too!”

BNZ Breakers CEO Troy Georgiu says the partnership with Rydges Auckland will give fans the opportunity to experience the hotel’s great amenities. “Having the support of Rydges Auckland is fantastic. It opens up opportunities across collaborative marketing activity, digital content and fan experiences that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.

“Rydges Auckland are just as committed to tourism and entertainment in the city as we are, and we’re looking forward to what this partnership will bring this season.”

Rydges Auckland and The CUT are located on 59 Federal Street in the heart of Auckland city.
